Natural Healthcare Centre gets Council Cash Booster

Visdata, based in Barton under Needwood, Chatterbox Ceramic Café, based in Tutbury, and the Natural Healthcare Centre, based in Burton, were all successful in bids to East Staffordshire Borough Council for support from its Business Development Fund.

The Natural Healthcare Centre are relocating to bigger premises to meet the needs of their expansion programmes.

A new, refurbished clinic awaits patients of The Natural Healthcare Centre, which has moved from its Bridge Street location to Main Street, in Stapenhill.

The centre, established in 1999, will now offer five treatment rooms with an addition of a yoga and meditation studio, a natural health shop and reception. It will also offer complementary and natural therapy.

The team now includes extended reception cover and continues to provide care to an accumulated client base of more than 6,000 patients, six days a week.

Using traditional as well as the latest natural methods, the team provide specialist treatments for digestive health, fertility, menopause and women's and men's health, pain, muscular and joint problems, stress-related conditions and weight loss as well as a smoking cessation clinic.

The team use acupuncture, herbal medicine, chiropractic, counselling, hypnotherapy, homeopathy, massage therapy, myofascial tissue release, nutritional therapy, podiatry, reflexology, yoga, play therapy, mindfulness, meditation, health testing and more.

Clinic director and Chinese medicine practitioner Grahame Gargini said: "Our client base is growing and we have new therapists now as part of our team and this new stylish clinic has been purposefully designed with each therapeutic purpose in mind.

"With the further space for yoga, family play therapy and mindfulness classes

we can encourage more physical group therapies, classes and workshops and continue the good work of our team with our existing and expanding community".
